Celebrating Our First Annual Harvest Festival at Tuscan Rose Vineyards

A North Florida Harvest Festival Filled with Community, Tradition, and Celebration

On August 29, 2026, Tuscan Rose Vineyards welcomed our community to Callahan, Florida for our First Annual Harvest Festival, a full day dedicated to celebrating the vineyard, the muscadine harvest, and the people who make this season so special.

Our first Harvest Festival was everything we hoped it would be. The vineyard was filled with families, friends, wine club members, local businesses, and guests enjoying a beautiful day together on the farm.

Throughout the day, visitors had the opportunity to experience harvest season in many different ways. Guests joined us for vineyard tours and wine tastings, stepped into the fun of a traditional grape stomp, and explored a local vendor market featuring businesses and makers from our community.

Our younger guests had their own place to enjoy the festivities in the Kid Zone, while members of The Vineyard Collective, our wine club, brought out some of their favorite vehicles for a special car show.

There was also plenty of friendly competition. Local bakers brought their best creations for our muscadine pie baking contest, with owner Bobbie and members of our winery community taking on the important task of judging. Our pie eating contest brought even more laughter as guests gathered around to cheer on the competitors.

From friends sitting alongside the vineyard enjoying a drink to families exploring the property and guests learning more about our grapes, the entire day felt like a true celebration of harvest season in North Florida.

What began as a season we were unsure how to face became one of the most meaningful harvests our family has experienced. Our community stepped into the vineyard, worked alongside us, and helped carry forward something Papa had been such an important part of. This harvest reminded us that some traditions are made even stronger when they are shared.

In April, we lost someone who meant so much to every generation of our family. He was Dad to Bobbie, Papa to Brandi and Bailey, and Pop Pop to his great-grandsons. He was instrumental in caring for the vineyard. He helped tend the vines, pick grapes, and handle so many of the jobs that happen quietly behind the scenes throughout the growing season. As harvest approached, we found ourselves wondering how we would get through it without him.

Rather than trying to do it alone, we invited our friends, family, wine club members, guests, and community to join us for volunteer grape picks throughout the season. And they showed up. Familiar faces and first-time visitors walked the rows together, filled buckets, picked muscadine grapes, and helped us bring in the harvest.

That spirit of community made our First Annual Harvest Festival feel like the perfect celebration of everything the season had become. It was not only about the grapes coming off the vines, but about the people who helped us get there and the memories created along the way.

As a family-owned farm winery in Callahan, Florida, we want Tuscan Rose Vineyards to be a place where people can experience more than what is inside a bottle. We want guests to walk through the vineyard, learn about agriculture, taste the wines that begin here, meet the people behind the farm, and make memories with the people they love.

To everyone who volunteered, stomped grapes, toured the vineyard, tasted wine, entered the muscadine pie baking contest, took on the pie eating challenge, visited our local vendors, brought a car for the show, or simply spent the day celebrating with us, thank you for making our first Harvest Festival so memorable.

Here’s to the first of many Harvest Festivals at Tuscan Rose Vineyards and to many more seasons worth celebrating together.
